When A|B was launched after the demise of other new media and advertising firms the "buzz" on social media had barely begun. In those days, Facebook facsimiles were called bulletin boards that were popular with investors and programmers fighting over posts. Such was the world of web 1.0.

Today A|B Geist can look back at many firsts. The first agency interactive presentation, among the first Netscape "Sites of the Week," the first agency staffers to breakthrough as bloggers, and first agency to be "buzzed" from The New York Times to USA Today for advertising with a knack for uncovering the social zeitgeist. Not just the technical virtuosity behind the work.

At risk of sounding anti-social, we don't exactly see what all the buzz is about. The web has always been social to A|B Geist. That is why people remember our campaigns primarily for the buzz, and brand growth, they generate.
